These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MadWeather and MomKnows! mobile applications ("Apps") and all related services published by Shabaka Malik Banks. By downloading, installing, or using either App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Apps on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
MadWeather offers a one-time "ad-free forever" in-app purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.
MomKnows! is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring fees. Pricing will be announced at launch. There is no account required and no in-app purchases beyond the initial purchase.
All purchases are made through Apple's App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple in accordance with their policies.
MadWeather uses your device location to retrieve weather data from Apple WeatherKit. No data is stored on external servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
MomKnows! stores all data exclusively on your device. There is no cloud sync, no server backup, and no account system. You are solely responsible for backing up your data. If you lose your device, reset it, or delete the app without first creating a local backup, your data cannot be recovered — by you, by us, or by anyone. We strongly recommend using the in-app encrypted backup feature regularly.
MomKnows! is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial advice. The information you record in the app is for personal reference only. Always consult qualified professionals for legal, medical, or financial decisions.
All content, design, code, and functionality of the Apps — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by Shabaka Malik Banks or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. MadWeather's weather data is provided by Apple WeatherKit and remains the property of Apple Inc.
THE APPS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Weather forecasts in MadWeather are estimates and should not be relied upon for critical decisions affecting health, safety, or property. MomKnows! is a personal reference tool — not a professional advisory service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHABAKA MALIK BANKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Apps shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Apps or legal requirements. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
